2-3 weeks ago they were everywhere, kinda funny that when the holiday season comes around they all seem to disappear and they don't know when they'll be getting more in!:fire

What did you pay for it? We love ours, the snow boarding game is a blast. Just sucks you gotta unlock it. btw they're selling for $152+ on ebay.

If anyone wants a Wii I am going to BB tomorrow. I am moving to Madison and will be home next Friday. If anyone wants one let me know. We will probably sell them for the full price we paid plus $5 bucks.

I was one of the people waiting in line at 4:30am yesterday to get one from Walmart. At least they were cool about it and handed out cards in line for those waiting for it.

Weds on the way home from work I stopped at Target in New Berlin and they must have had a dozen Wii sitting right in the case. I nearly bought one just because I've never actually seen one in a store.

Having owned one for a while (Nicole's christmas gift last year) I think that the wii overall is lame. ratio of x-box 360 use v.s. wii use in the last year has been @ least 10:1

you need to throw more parties then.....its perfect for when you have lots of people over.

That kind of proves out the point that it is more of an entertainment piece for kids and adults not serious about gaming. Serious gaming is still the realm of 360s and PS3s. It just doesn't have the horsepower to play much beyond whacking a ball around or playing a guitar. Hell, it couldn't even run the introductory screen of Resident Evil 5.

If you don't mind dropping X number of dollars for a box with the processing power of a PS2 but that you can play tennis with than by all means the Wii is all about you :thumbsup

The Wii is designed for ages 12 and under and also for older drunk parties. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are more the gaming realm.

I have a 7, 5, & 2 year old, so it is perfect for them. Jacki I will use the Wii Fit feature.

lolz ^^^(dammit Dan i was supposed to be the next reply) That was the idea behind the wi? Didnt you watch any of their commericals? It was always 4 or 5 people sitting around in a living room while to people were playing a game like bowling/Maro kart/Golf ect.

exactly what nintendo wanted the wii to be. ever since the "revolution" project was announced they said that it wasn't going to be a gamer's platform. they wanted to go back to the roots of nintendo, and they did. and in the process have sold more consoles, made more money, and penetrated more households than sony and microsoft have done with their latest. nintendo hit a home run with the wii......look at why this thread was started :thumbsup

i am a nintendo fan-boy if you haven't noticed :D dont rip on my mario :alcoholic

Hrmm I'd only buy a Wii cause they're fun to play when you're drunk... for my "hard core" games my PS2 is good enough... It does Rockband, and our new host of guitar hero games... That's all we really need it for... Oh that and Simpsons Taxi or whatever it's called...

SEAN has the Wii...found it when he was in Indy....he says you can go online with the thing...so that in itself seems to me that it will be a gamer like 360 is online...or am i wrong...

also best buy in the falls Dano had a few in...pm me if your still looking..if i run into one while i'm out and about with my job...i'll pick ya one up and you can pay me.....:thumbsup

I dunno I guess it's hit or miss with some people. We play ours regularly and love it! Sad thing is you watch some lazy asses play and they don't even do some of the games right. Then they wonder why it's no fun.
