Guy on my SS forum just posted pics of his Cadillac STS-V and his Trailblazer SS all murdered out and they look great. Thought I'd share.

Don't get my wrong, both cars looks great and I would love to own them, but honestly I think that TBSS would look awesome with a red lip on the wheels.

Thats a pic of a STS-V in silver. Note the 6 lug wheels and their style. The pictures I posted above have the same wheels, just powdercoated black. Also six lug.

And there is a 2006 CTS-V. CTS-V is not as wide as the STS-V

Upon further review, I noticed the older model CTS-V's also have the six lug wheels, however if you look at both pics, the cars are highly similar but a few subtle differences. But either way, I got the original post pictures from a member on another forum I visit. I'd be willing to be he is sure of what he owns :D

Theres no proof its a STS for one the only badge that was left on is a CTS badge. Its a CTS-V. ENDO STORY.

theres plenty of proof. Look at the difference between a STS and a CTS. The chrome mesh grill on the CTS isnt as wide. The whole car in general isnt as wide

look at the pics.

Both pics are of 2006 models. The STS has horizonally orientated side markers inside the bumper cover. The CTS also has the side markers, but are vertically orientated and slightly tilted towards the back of the car.

The STS's bumper cover stays horizontal when mating with the front fenders. The CTS's bumper cover angles upwards towards the door mirrors when mating with the fenders.

In the lower portions of the bumpers, the STS-V has all clear lights. The CTS-V has amber lights above the fogs.

Those are some of the subtle differences. The obvious differences are the hoods, the bodylines in the doors, specifically the lower door area.


The differences are pretty obvious. /argument

i think theres a cts-v,sts-v and even a xlr-v or atleast there was for a year or two

well everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I love both of them. The only changes I'd make on the TBSS would be to remove those vent visors. The chances I'd make on the STS would be to black out the headlight bezels
