I see the that 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour starts in Madison and the next stop is Racine.... http://www.hotrod.com/2009powertour/index.html
I may have to do that next year.

I am 99% sure I am doing the whole deal this year, its coming back to my town and staying mostly in the midwest (my fav place). I figure I might as well do it while its close by, hope gas stays "cheap".
I plan to sleep at home for Madison, Racine and South Bend.
The Warren Tech Center should be cool, I was kinda hoping they would do something in Bowling Green involving the Vette plant.

Love this from Hot Rod. "We'll kick off on June 6 in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Alliant Energy Center. From there, we'll make the short trip over to Racine simply because we felt this was among the best venues of all time, despite rain in 2007." :thumbsup

Last time I did it in 2005 it was $60 for the whole tour and $35 or $40 for one stop like if you were only going to racine and thats it. The best part is when the ask for your insurance number and I just give them my home phone number, don't know why they need my insurance number?

It's best to just pay the full registration price cause you get a pretty decent goodie bag. Plus better parking usually.

What's in the "goodie bag?"

A couple years ago I got a big bag of stuff, the normal stickers and catalogs, license plate frame, coffee mug thermos dealie, spray wax, bunch of pens and stuff, I think a polishing cloth, etc. Plus if you're there the first day to pick up your stuff you're a "long hauler" in most vendors eyes, so you can get stuff from them as well. For the extra couple bucks I would say it's worth it.

Jacki and I will be longhauling (full tour) for our 4th time. the goodie bag is great, but what you get from the vendors the first day is even better. The friends you meet on the tour is priceless.

I am on this like a fat kid on cake. My old car club hosted the Power Tour show at Miller Park. Personally I thought the goody bags they handed out that year sucked! Whatever, free swag is free swag.

I think the BCM cruise out to Madison would be AWESOME!

I have not booked yet either. They always have a running list on hotrod.com. I need to get with the friends of ours. I know that they generally stay at LeQuinta's because of points or dicounts or something.
