That was such a nice car. This is why I won't race my Z28, I know she's fast as a bat out of Hell, but ANYTHING can happen while racing, and I don't want to risk my "baby." I'll maybe someday get a car I don't fall in love with, and race that instead......

Yeah, I agree with you totally. That way if you f**k up and wreck it, you won't be heartbroken and grief-stricken about it. I have had way too many people tell me their "lost-love" car stories, VERY sobering, to say the least. These stories always start out, "Well, I USED to have this car that I LOVED, but then one time at the track......" and so on. Not for me, I guess. I'm just way too sentimental.
