wiper switch/blinker switch ???

is thier a way to take it apart? the wires for my wipers are busted and i want to splice in new ones so my wipers will work.... or do i have to take the whole friggin counsle apart and replace the wiper/blinker arm??


its for a POS 1987 s10 blazer and i don't really want to put a lot of money in it as its just a POS winter beater...

if its simaler to the 96 i had it does come apart but is a major pita i know i bought a new one from gm for $250 with my gm employee discount back in the day so i don't know if they are cheaper. i'de try the bone yard for one

They just turn and pop out and unplug it go to a pick and pull.

^^^ huh? its the actuall arm that sticks out of the column the one you would "twist" to turn on the wipers... ive tried turning it past the point where you would turn the wipers on and off but it did nothing..



its also got cruise controlle so if that matters any idk.

Oh there broke inside the little arm i thought they were broke down farther in the box part of the switch. I don't know how to pull the arm apart or if its possible. but mine looked just like that one as well

i have the wires that go into the arm hanging out of the column i wonder if i can just hook them up to a on/off switch somehow and use that to turn the wipers on and off....
i could care less about the delay and the wash i only drive the truck 2 miles to work and back thats it...after this winter(if it last that long)its getting junked

maybe if you had a wire diagram. I hate tracing wires lol electricity pisses me off
