A $1.75, never thought I would see that but it is below $1.80 many places right now. A joint DT went to $2.59 for some reason though.

Anyway, thought I would share since I am going to go fillup the Suburban for next weeks travels tonight, in case the prices get a Thanksgiving bump in price.

It was $2.09 up here in Plymouth this morning yet but $1.99 down by Random lake. Not sure why but lately it is more up here then down there. I am still happy though!!:thumbsup

Oil was below $50.00 a barrel earlier today. Don't know what it closed at.

why is diesel fuel still @ $2.64 a gallon?

Maybe because the demand isn't as big as regular gas.. Just an idea..

Isn't that the complete opposite of the typical supply and demand rule?

But then again I know nothing about trucks and diesel so I could be wrong.

Its home heating season and diesel is also known used as furnace fuel oil.

That and further refined, low-sulfur diesel being mandated has resulted in greater refined diesel imports, keeping it's price high vs gas...while historically, it's traditionally a lower priced alternative to gas.

It was under $48. Wholesale gas prices dropped under $1.

This is the time the govt should be filling up the strategic reserve. Not when oil was overpriced. Shit they should increase the reserve right now.

They only add 0.35% of what we consume daily into the strategic reserve on a daily basis...less than half of 1%. It was always a ploy to just sound good when pelosi "demanded" to stop adding, and make the ill-informed masses angry when Bush didn't. Simple, stupid polictical gaming.

Probably their cash only price, I think that one of those jopints is cash only no matter what, at least it was over the summer, no cards, no checks

Hometown is usually one of the lowest in the area. I don't think I trust his gas though. :(
