Well Spike went last night or this morning, he was pretty
slow last few months and skipping his favorite foods.

10-15-96 was his purchase date, 11-16-08 he went in the
big green Milwaukee barrial bin. 12+ years for actual
documented life span is pretty dam good run with internet
myths of 15+ year old lizards being rumored.

Im thinking a true Cameleon, active guys they are neat to
watch as they forage all day, never owned one.

and acting like he wants to go play....I give up!

Well the family is all gatherd around balling that night, he looks like hell and falling over. We decide its time to put him down...next day the bionic dawg is barking and carrying on like a wild puppy. Fast forward a week later (sunday again) and he looks like hell...next day he's happy as hell. I give up, he looks a little rough tonight but Im not counting him out yet.

I have a fish like that. He will be laying on his side looking completely bloated and dead. Then a few minutes later he is swimming around chasing his brother. I have another feeder goldfish that is 5+ years old. He gets depressed often and will just lay on the gravel on the bottom, but come feeding time he is pushing the other fish out of the way (well being blind doesn't help that, but it's still fun to watch him be the boss). I looked it up and I guess it has something to do with ph level in the tank.

I hope the best for your dog too. It's never easy losing a pet, especially one you have had for quite some time and your family has grown so attached to.

animals i tell ya! Ive been through some crazy stuff in my life and still to this day loseing my baby (14 year old German Wired hair pointer) was easily by far the toughest thing to take in.

I had to drive her to the vet that day. As she layed in the passenger seat with her head laying in my lap giving me kisses. :( i could tear up just thinking about her

Sorry to hear about your Dragon Russ.

He had a great life, probably over 100 in our years.

I got my Bearded dragon January 2006, she was just a few inches long. I had no idea they live 12+ years.... damn that going to be a lot of crickets and superworms.

As mine got older and less active that Flukers pellets was very apealing
to him. Last 4-5 years he has been on flukers and fresh veggies coverd
with vitimin supplement.
