I have 18x7.5 rims with 245/45/18s on. I really like the rims and don't want to buy new ones just cause I want to go with a wider rim and tire. I want to make it a 18x9 so I can put a 275 or wider tire on the rears. Are there any wheel shops around Milwaukee that does this kinda of work?

Something like this:

How the hell did you get 245's on a 7.5 to begin with? Must have taken a while to get the tires on the wheels.

Vaughn Machine (626-358-6413) in Monrovia, CA.
The widened 17x9 WS6 rims to 17x11's w/ no probs & perfect results.
They'll get mine eventually to do the same.

Info on his work- http://ws6.com/wheels.htm

I just put Michellin Pilot Sports in a 245/40/17 on my Subaru with a 17x7 wheel. They fit pretty nice..

Yeah I remember when I had the tires mounted and balanced the guy that did the work was telling me it was a tight fit, but I've had no problems what so ever.

Bunch of guys referred them, I guess they are the closest. I was wondering if any shop around here did that kind of work.

I think this mach 1 with stock wheels that have been narrowed looks kinda neat. It needs to be lowered a bit though.

I would do these wheels on my S10. I think they are the ten spokes that came on the 4th gen camaro.
