I might actually get a vacation this year and i was considering renting a couple sleds for a weekend. does anyone around here rent out snowmobiles?
where the best place to go?
i have never been on one before so i just want to see if its worth buying my own.

anywhere in northern wisconsin/ the up is awesome for snowmobiling. i know in houghton, theres like three dealers that rent and they have an awesome trail network in the kewanna peninsela. eagle river is also a blast but not sure about where to rent.

Just head to Eagle River Friday after work and get settled in and get your sled the next morn @ 8 am ride all day and or night turn the sled in Sunday morn and head home.
All of ya's for the weekned will be probably $600 all told what with this "cheap" gas.

Depends where you want to go.

I would look close to where you are staying so you dont have to deal with transporting the sleds.

You can't go wrong with Iron County, the Hurley area is fun, so is Eagle River and even Minoqua or Tomahawk. It depends how far you want to go....

guys were pulling mid 90's on the gun and gps. they only have the 1.25 ripsaw instead of the 1.75 snocross track. a little clutching and jetting and it might see triple digits
