Hey everybody, my name is Thom, my friends call me Sally be cause I have a mustang, hence the username. I was reffered to this forum by nismodave because I saw his car and stopped to ask him if there were any local shows or meets around the Milwaukee area. I'm new in town from Mooresville, NC, about 30 miles north of Charlotte. I work for ETE Reman, formerly Engine & Transmission Exchange in Brown Deer. My Mustang is my first car and currently in pieces undergoing a complete build. My intentoins are to backhalf the car and do a Twin Turbo set up on the 3.8L V6, I'm hoping for right around 500 to the wheels. My Daily Driver is a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 ZR-2, with a 4.3L V6 and a 5-speed manual. Right now its just a DD but its 4WD and its got 31x10.50's on it. I'd like to lift it and put some 36's on it. I'm a member of a local club back home called CTN aka Club Tuesday Night...www.clubtuesdaynight.com (http://www.clubtuesdaynight.com), we have local meets every week and are Nopi Nationals participants. We also attended Motorsports Nationals(the replacement for NOPI Nationals this year after NOPI went bankrupt) and had a lot of members bring home trophies. Our average weekly attendance is about 60 cars which makes us the largest club and the largest weekly show in our area. Just trying to find some info about what goes on around Milwaukee as far as weekly shows and meets, local clubs, track days, TNT nights and what not.

Hear are some pictures and info on my vehicles.

Ignore the drama, you'll find plenty of it

Welcome to the site. Just curious, how do you drop your Mustang 5"?? My stock wheel gap was like 3" and that is for the super high "4x4" look of a stock GT.

Welcome to the site. Just curious, how do you drop your Mustang 5"?? My stock wheel gap was like 3" and that is for the super high "4x4" look of a stock GT.

I lowered it the "REDNECK WAY" I chopped a set of eibachs for a cup car and stuffed them in, I also bumped the spring rate a little and by the time i got done I was out handling my buddies autocross miata. Before I dropped it I measured the sideskirt height, it was 9" behind the front tire and 10" infront of the rear tire. It now sits LF - 4.5", RF - 4", LR - 5.5", RR - 5". Obviously the drivers side is a 1/2" high, I did that for driver compensation. I used to work for a SCCA team so I learned a little bit about chassis setup. I also bumped the spring rate to LF - 1000lb, RF - 950lb, LR - 500lb, RR - 475lb. The left side has 75lbs more spring plus sitting a 1/2" higher makes the car perfectly level and balanced with me sitting in it. 5" is the limit I only have 3/4" ground clearance from my Y-Pipe....NO SPEEDBUMPS...lol
