I'm going out on a limb here and asking if anyone knows what day they have their half price sushi?

I'm dying for some sushi and I'm cheap.

I'm busy drinking coffee.. Why don't you call or look it up on the net!

I'd do it but I'm too busy lifting this heavy mug to my mouth..

I tried their website but it doesn't say.

Reviews from people say it's Monday. :(

Take a dead bug and put it on your plate when you're almost finished and notift the wait staff of this travesty.

That's called "Free Sushi" and would probably work any day of the week actually...

Half price day is Monday and Tuesday, we were just there last night and we go ever other week. The leftovers from dinner at 8pm didn't last beyond 11pm.....

Normally it's line $3-$6 for a normal roll and like $9-$12 for the more elaborate rolls.

The Nigiri-Zushi is like $2-$5 or so for each piece.

So to get full at normal price it gets expensive.

The wife and I usually get like 5 rolls and then I get a few pieces of Nigiri.

When we go we always order off of the 'special' menu (half-off), I have never looked in the 'real' menu so I don't know what else is in there. We'll always order a few pieces of Nigiri-zushi (raw fish on rice) and a bunch of Maki-zushi rolls ('California' rolls as many people like to call them). The Nigiri-zushi are what they are so order what you like but the Maki-zushi rolls are different in many ways. There aren't many (if any) that I don't like so it's hard to tell you what to get not knowing your limitations with this kind of food. The wife tried some of my ‘spider’ roll and was gagging it out into a napkin seconds after biting into it, she didn’t even give it a fair shot  . I am somewhat new to this kind of food but won't flinch at putting anything in my mouth, just as long as it's already DEAD....:goof

The best thing to do is to go with an open mind and try things that look good to you; it's all really good food just maybe not what you're used to. Also remember that you have a better chance of getting killed by a teenaged driver walking TO the restaurant than you do inside of it, or shortly there after..... :thumbsup

The one thing I suggest NOT getting unless you like a giant glob of snot is the Scallop.

Which really pains me to have to say becuase scallops are one of my favorite foods on this planet. Just not raw. Out of everything I've even had at a sushi place that is THE only thing I can't order again.

As already stated, Monday and Tuesday, but it is not just lunch, it's all day. The majority of sushi/sashimi are $1.50 and most rolls are $3.50, with the most expensive on the special list being $5.50 or $6.50. The wife and I just went to the Bluemound Fujiyama last night. You can get 4 rolls for $14 and be pretty full by the end.

Either way you slice it.

The shit is good stuff and high quality. I've yet to have any kind of problems with the quality of food there.

It's well known that Mondays and Tuesdays are the slowest days for restaurants. Everywhere has their best deals on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Maybe it's because I don't eat sushi, but the fact that it is half off and that it is on highway 100 scares me.

The thing I regret trying was the Philadelphia Roll. Something about cream cheese mixed in with all that, just didn't end up right. All the "spicy" rolls are good though. Just can't eat alot of them.

Bluemound one is better IMO. And nothing beats eating at the Hibachi(sp?) and having the guy throwing knives everywhere.

Agreed. Went last night and everything was top notch.

We had:

Eel and cucumber roll
Spicy Salmon Roll
Tuna and Avacado Roll
Ninja Roll
Shrimp Tempura Roll

And I had a salmon nigiri and shrimp nigiri.

So delicious.

All that and 2 beers, for $28. Cheap.
