Im looking for a GYM to join

I live in Germantown and my Gym I was at for a while, closed thier doors. The only other Gym up here (Sneakers) is run by an Asshole. My friend, Larry, and myself went up there and they wouldnt let him have the 7 day trial because he didnt live close enough. I think it was some serious discrimination going on because he was black, a real shitty attitude from him. He lost 2 almost FOR SURE members. :fire

Anyway, I need suggestions for a GYM somewhat near my area. Any recomendations?? :)

You could disguise your selves as women and go to Curves. Seriously though, is there a Cardinals gym near you? Just basic stuff and cheap.

There's currently a SNAP fitness in Menom. Falls and lots more all over SE WI. There's one going up in Germantown soon.. I have a membership there, can be used at ANY of the locations and they seriously are everywhere.

Snap is similar to that, on-site tanning for I think $10 extra a month, available personal training, but for a single membership it's 34.95/mth.

I'm a member at snap fitness, its nice and convenient. I'm usually at the Menomonee Falls 2 snap (off of silver spring near pilgrim). The menomonee falls 1 is on good hope and appleton ave...and there is one going up in G-town at Mequon Rd. & Squire Dr.

If you join and stay for 30 days I get a free month if you use me as a referral :P

If you wanted to try ballys out let me know i can get you a pass for a couple weeks, then if you like it i can get pretty good deals. Only have five in wisconsin (west allis on 60th, brookfield on bluemound, Southridge on 76th, cudahy on layton, and downtown on van buren.)

I go to Snap up here, I like the convienence. 24 hours, new equiptment, month-to-month payment, and its 1/2 mile from my house.

Snap's equipment is cheap and shitty. It is shiny and new because no one uses it. I was there for 3 months and hated it. Love the Wisconsin Athletic Club, but I don't think there is one close to you (Tosa at the nearest I think) Cardinal seemed decent, otherwise check out the YMCA. What are you looking to get out of your gym membership? Snap might be good for you if you like stand up tanning beds and treadmills but don't have any intention of ever lifting weights.

I guess our Snaps up here are different. Both are busy places with a ton of free weights and a dozen+ different machines.
