Yeah I wouldnt be suprised if the republican party forced McCain to choose Palin as his running mate. He probably knew that was a bad idea from the beginning.

All you needed to know was shown after his concession speech. The glaring looks she and her husband had told alot. I think they were pissed that he conceded so early, blame everything on him, and were very angry about having to go back to Alaska. Her husband looked like he wanted to kill someone. I'd love to have heard what went down in the back.

this really doesn't matter cuz they will bury her name soon enough. They ship her back up to alaska where only the locals will see/hear her anymore.

I agree, I dont see the republican party letting her run again. Atleast if theyre smart they wont.

My guess it that it's Huckabee (or possibly Romney) people that were hired into the McCain team after the primaries that are starting this stuff. They are trying to burn her for 2012. The reason I say Huckabee is because he was the "populist" candidate until she came around so his people have the motive. I don't think McCain is going to make another run at the Presidency. He's been shot down twice (no pun intended) once in the primaries for 2000 and now once in the general election.

Rudy woulda had a chance if he didn't wait to put all his eggs in the florida basket and maintained a kinda low profile till then.

I think she's just the scapegoat. I also think she was just a scheme by the McCain clan to try and grab the young votes, find a hottie that will draw the young male voters that are stupid enough to vote for someone based solely on appearance, especially the young white male. This election was all about race IMO.

I find it hard to believe that Palin is the main reason for McCain's failures. The McCain camp is blaming everyone for their failures.....but themselves.

I dont know of many young white males who voted for McCain just cause she was hot. I didnt think she was hot at all, just an average middle aged woman. She was picked to get Womans votes and thats all. Had Obama picked Hillary for his VP It would of been all over for McCain he may of as well just conceded right then.

I agree. She actually gave him a lead in the poles for a bit. I do think she's attractive, of course she's only 10 years older than me:goof. but I would no sooner vote for someone because of their looks than because of their skin color. If you agree with me on the the issues that matter to me , I don't give a f*** if your a woman, black, green, whatever.

They were trying to sell Gerald Ford when we needed Ronald Reagan and we ended up with Karl Marx. I think it's bullshit that they are trying to pin shit on her when it's the top candidates fault to win or lose.I wasn't excited about McCain but he was better than Barrack Marx, but when they picked a more conservative VP then I got more excited about it. Hopefully in 2012 we don't get another McCain and get somebody more like Reagan. I wonder how McCain is liking campaign finance reform now ??? What did obama raise like $70 bazzillion ??

I also can wait for Obama to pull a Clinton "Oh the economy is worse than I thought, I can't give you the tax cuts I promissed" then in 2010 the Bush tax cuts expire and taxes go up all around, with people crying "hey I don't make $250K /year why is the Messiah making my taxes go up":(

Which from what I heard will be about $3k on a married couple making $75k together, of course they're rich right?
