OK, I know everyone's (including my own) feathers are all ruffled in light of....recent developements.....and there isn't a whole lot of good feelings right now......Let's take a little break, and talk about something more fun...Here goes: What are you all looking most forward to doing to your cars this spring? Mods/paintjobs/anything? I am looking most forward to putting in a very cool Holley double-pumper into my Camaro, and putting loud, obnoxious mufflers on my Olds. :thumbsup

A car thread on an Automotive forum??? Hot damn that just makes sense! I'm hoping to finish adding all that damn safety equipment and upgrade from the 67's to 2 72 or 76mm turbos. As well as add a new motor using either the LSX block or the Dart billet block. Depending on funds!

:thumbsup

Same reason they'd put a Chevy motor in a Nissan. :)

I'm just looking forward to buying a new car in spring.

<- still trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with the Jeep. Gotta winterize it somehow before bringing it from AZ. Otherwise the salt will OWN it in less than a year.

Naw...another 240. :goof I can't get enough of'em. Hopefully either a very nice vert or the cleanest coupe I can find anywhere in the country.

I'm actually waiting for the next SX and other Nissan/Infiniti RWD cars before deciding on my next new car purchase.

Goood luck with that, If you want. i have a real good friend (bout 8-10years now) that moved to Orlando FL. and he said he is more then willing to go look at/drive any car i'd want from that area. just so you can have a car person look at it if need be.

Thanks for the offer!

There's a lotta people in CA on Zilvia willing to go and do that stuff for me. I had people volunteering to help me out when the time comes. :) I know people all over the country that wouldn't hesitate doing that for me if I asked.

And who says posting on forums is a waste of time. ;)

Some of the Cali guys said that verts are a dime a dozen out there. Only thing is I don't think I could stand driving an auto. I might just end up getting a coupe.

If the timing wasn't so bad I'd be all over this MF!

IF the Thunderturd leaves me any money, I'll get to finishing up my 1941 Willys steel gasser, or maybe my '69 Shelby GT500, or maybe my 1970 Boss 302, etc.,etc.
Lets face it, there will be nothing left!!

Nice.

The reason why I was Ok about selling my last coupe is just because I've sort of settled with my past 240's. The first one I drove down to KY to buy. I knew the body was in ok shape and it had really low miles (83k). But when I saw how clean the interior was I was just like, "f*ck it there's enough good about this car that I can overlook the bad".

The my coupe I was just plain antsy to get another 240 that I again settled on one in so so shape.

Not this time. I'm just going to chill and save and have up to $4-$5k to spend on a clean stock 240. S13 preferably. People just want too much for clean S14's kouki's still. And I just like S13 coupe's better.

And my plans will be to slam it and flush wheel it. I'd just auto-x it and enjoy it.

Lemme know if you do need paintwork. I can ask Mikey for a on the side thing
(he painted the monte)
Im swapping my orange one back to street. Car is useless cause Id rather meet regular joes that run every once in a while. Internet killed my drag racing with all the king kong acting motherfaukas. Plus I still gotta load it up and hope for a nice day and haul it to wherever its gotta go, which sucks

I need to get some maintenance stuff done first. Need new ball joints and rear tires being the first things. Then get the exhaust done and then maybe some engine work. Or might sell it and work on something different.

Try doing lower ball joints on a 3/4 ton pickup.... loads of fun...
I still have one side to do

Hopefully this winter I'll get an LSx (possibly LS3) motor dropped into the RX7... Paint in the spring.
