I thought that was strictly a Yeep thing and find it funny a bunch of A4 ? lovers/purists? get all up in arms over the guy rhino-lining a 3 thousand dollar throwaway car.

Looks like primer to me. I think it looks dumb.

I can see doing it on a truck that sees a ton of abuse but doing it to a car like that seems kinda dumb. And the color makes it look worse. Oh well, to each thier own.

Yes, that would be the same guy

I saw this on another forum too, black would have been a better choice and LEAVE THE RIMS! They look awful

Honestly, I think it looks badass. I agree, I would have done black, but it looks cool. Indestructible to boot!

I like it, I wanted to do this to my buick to prevent it from rusting. The color is terrible, it looks like primer. And doing the wheels was over kill, haha.

First of all since it was done as a paint job and not an actual truck bed, it's not nearly as heavy as those are imposing. When they apply the liner to a truck bed they usually do several thick coats so it can last.

On another note this truck was completely rhinolined:

Half cool half ugly...

Gotta love the function over form ideal though, of course if it was a car I really liked I would probably say otherwise :) .

Wonder how easy that stuff is to get off, if someone was to ever get a real paint job on it.

I think thats actually kinda cool, not the right color, and doing the rims was definatly not needed. The entire bottom of my dad's car is done in the Reflex bed liner, its done all body color red.

This guy got it right. Think about it, we build cars out of something as durable as metal and then cover them with something as fragile as paint.

Pain in the ass, I had to use a dremel tool to get it off the bolts for the tail gate handle so I could remove them, you would be better off getting all new body panels.

That stuff is sprayed to stick, its a PAIN IN THE ASS to get off assuming it was installed correctly.

im not looking forward to that. my handle has been broken for a while.

i think the car would be better in a diff color but it is a good idea especially around here where they use tons of salt

Plus if it's been on for years and was a driveway car. All those days in the sun. :stare

...and why would a guy put vanity tags saying "BABYOIL" on his car?

It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would, but another color would have been better.

Same type of brain that had a guy in a Honda I saw around UWM campus years ago with "RU18YET"..... :loser

I kind of like it. It looks better in the up close pics though as it looks silver. I think the wheels being done also kind of completes the look.

I like it.... especially the part where he beat the shit out of it, physically, and couldn't even nick it.

I'd definitely do that on a beater. (in black, and not the wheels)

Couldn't you sand it down to a smoother finish?
