I am puzzled as to why you wouldn't care either way. I think there is a ton on the line with this election. I'm not tearing into you, but it's disappointing when people just decide they don't want to vote. A lot of people gave their lives so we have this freedom that many other countries envy. I could see if it were some school board election, but this is the presidential election.

School board elections are as important too. Look how much MPS wants to rape the taxpayers again, over 13 % raise?

Once I was NOT going to vote and my dad was sort of upset with me, I simply said I don't like either of them really and there douches !!!

So my dad says, well brad take both of them and find out witch one is the lesser **** head. So that's how I vote.

Mcain for 08 even tho were still doomed !!!

I am another non voter. They are both corrupt as shit. Both are liars. Both have no common sense. Both are going to spend money on the dumbest shit. Both are just straight up fuck ups. All the billions of people in this country and these two jack offs are my options? Fuck that. Even the Independent is the same way. I have yet to see a politician recently with common sense.

Gas prices are going down. The economy is in the shit hole. The lower prices are helping out people that are struggling hardcore just to put food on the table. What does the oil monopoly want to do? Reduce oil production to jack the prices up again. This is where I want my gov to go in and kick them in the balls. I don't want alternative answers. There are non yet. Not saying we won't have some in the future. But right now. We don't. You want to improve the economy? Stop the Monopoly that big oil has. Make them keep the price at what it is now. Will we ever see this? Fuck no. Because anyone that goes into office gets paid millions of dollars to look the other way. I believe our gov is so fucked up. They haven't done anything for the general people imo lately. They are always thinking about their pockets...not the country.

You put someone on that ballot that has a little common sense and isn't a complete jack off and you bet your ass I will be there voting. Until then, I refuse to take part in such a joke of an election. Every single option this election is worthless. While they may do something to help one little part of the general lives of people. They will fuck us over on another part.

I could rant on this subject for hours but I will keep it very simple. If you are not going to vote then SHUT THE HELL UP!!! IF you do vote please be educated as to why you are voting for that particular person. Know there stance on things that mean the most to you. As for all the big oil haters out there. Our government makes more on a gallon of gas by percentage than the oil company does. The station owner is the one that really gets screwed. Would you like to own a business that has an average 10% profit? Any business owner will tell you that is not very good. Most gas station owners make there money not on gas but soda, candy, milk, snacks, etc. With gas being high people don't buy as much when they get gas.

What's funny is you can tell WHO the majority vote getter is based SQUARELY on the message board you are on.

Cars - McCain
Guns - McCain
Snowboarding - Obama
Weed - Obama

Hahaha... you could break it down even further from there. Based on what TYPE of car message board you are on.

The sad thing is, this election will end up like the one with Gore. One person will get the majority vote... the other will get Commyfornia and New York and get that huge electoral college vote.

In the end, we are screwed.

Your poll is incorrect, there are more than 2 people running!
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.php

If your not up on "all" the candidates you should not vote
at all, you've been brainwashed into believing there are
only 2 candidates. Both McCain and Obama have lower
IQs and zero economic experience than the others who
are running.

No one else has a realistic chance of winning, voting for Ron Paul , Bob Barr, or Baldwin is the same as a vote for Obama. Just like Nader and Mckinney is the same as voting for McCain if your on the left side of the fence.
I wish McCain was more conservative but compared to Obama he's Reagan.

Yep my opinion. I'm calling it now, no third party candidate will get anywhere close to what Perot did in 92 (19%) or 96(8%).
I said Ron Paul because people keep talking about him (not just here but other forums I'm on),about writing in etc.
It would be nice if a more conservative candidate actually had a chance, but in my opinion they don't.

Nothing personel, your thoughts are the majority but..

Lets see what would it take for a 3rd party person
to win?...a miracle?....no for everyone to vote! So
by saying "they have no chance" is like running
red lights every day because "hey Im gonna get

Voting for 3rd party has nothing to do with voting
for McCain or Obama. The decision to vote for McCain
or Obama is pointless, they are multi millionaires who
have never "worked" for there money. Hey people hate
Nader (im no fan) but the guy got more smarts than

Democrat, a Republican, or a Redneck?

Here is a little test that will help you decide.

The answer can be found by posing the following question:

You're walking down a
deserted street with your wife
and
two small children.
Suddenly, an Islamic
Terrorist with a huge knife
comes
around the corner, locks eyes with you,
screams obscenities, praises
Allah, raises the
knife, and charges at you.

You are carrying a
Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot.

You have mere seconds
before he reaches you and your family. What
do
you do?

................................................. ........

THINK CAREFULLY AND
THEN SCROLL DOWN:

Democrat's
Answer :

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
Does
the man look poor or oppressed?
Have I ever done anything to him that
would inspire
him to attack?
Could we run away?
What does my wife
think?
What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club
and knock
the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about
this situation?
Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind
of message
does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he'd be
happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me, or would
he be
content just to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold
on, could my
family get away while he was stabbing me?
Should I call
9-1-1?
Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes, have
paint and weed day and
make this happier, healthier street that
would
discourage such behavior.
This is all so confusing! I need to
debate this with
some friends for few days and try to come to a
consensus.

Do you really think we would be in much better shape if Obama gets in and Biden has to take over? This speech just scares me:

"We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough - I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he’s gonna need help."
