I'll paint the scenario which happened many a time:

Newbie signs up to BCM. Newbie wants to start some $h!t with other members or just post general non-sense. Newbie thinks he's real smart and thinks he'll just edit his posts (since he can't delete it either) and removing all the content of his posts as to avoid prosecution of the Admins/Mods before they have the chance to read it.

Or newbie just wants to renege what they said after newbie was made a fool of.

I figure if people are willing enough to donate, they like being here, they enjoy contributing, and their not here to cause a lot of trouble.
Thus Donating Members can edit.

I was a mod over at Zilvia (largest 240sx site in the world) for a while (13,5XX posts there), I have my own forums (panachedriver), and was a mod and the #1 contributor (7,000 posts +) on Team Rush's forums for a long time until I was banned for disagreeing with Leroy and damn near everyone else (still have the most posts), and was one of Clubfr's topic contributors until the admin accidentally deleted everyone's accounts. Just saying I know my way around a forum or 6. :)

But with your explanation, why can I edit then since I havne't donated? I actually don't have a problem donating to a site though. Server space isn't free. I'm a lifetime premie member on Zilvia for free as a thank you for my mod work there so I can put that money towards this place.

Oh, and where about in New Berlin are you? I'm near Sunnyslope and Beloit in New Berlin.
