I put a new trans in the camaro this weekend its a 93 z28 and i put in a rebuilt iroc 700r4 everything went awesome except the plug on the side. The 93 has a 5 prong plug and the iroc trans has a 4 prong plug in. What does that plug do? Do you need it? Thanks

It's the history eraser plug, don't plug it in or history erases itself and then the mullet never would have existed, and we can't have THAT can we:stare

i have no computer on my car no wires going to my trans and it runs just fine. I say kick the plug to the curb. Make sure your detent cable is setup correctly or youll burn through this trans faster than you can shoot a booger out your nose(soposedly humans can do that really really fast ;))
