I am looking for an exhaust shop that will cut off the u bend (on my 99 GTP) and weld in the u bend delete/straight pipe I have that will bolt right on to the catback. I went to a couple places today for quotes and they said "set an appointment and Ill tell you for sure tomorrow" and "$200.":rolf
Yes I know catless downpipes for these cars can be had for $100 but I would like to keep the factory cat (for emissions purposes, not for this state) welded when I get the TOGs installed.
Anyone have their u bend deleted at an exhaust shop and would take it to the same place if needed? Or would I be better off having it done when the headers are installed?
