I've been doing this since 1984 in everything from a $25 Chevette to my latest car. The Wisconsin Corvette Club puts on a Hare And Hounds Rallye every October. It's open to any car. You need a driver and navigator. This is done in the dark and is a blast to do.
Entry fee: $20.00
Starting Point: Park & Ride at I-94 and HWY 83 in Delafield
Registration and Tech: 5:00-6:00 PM
Participants Meerting: 6:10 PM
First Car Out: 6:30 PM (Cars sent out in order of registration)
Would like to see some of you out there. There usually is a poker rallye included as well. the way a Hare And Hounds works, is you are given directions to a certain intersection with a RED rallye marker. You then make a decision as to which way you go. If you see a corresponding GREEN rallye marker, you made the correct choice. If you don't see the GREEN marker, you turn around and try another direction at that last intersection. There is usually a Poker rallye inserted in the event so you have two chances at a trophy. Trophies are usually crafty Holloweeny looking trophies. Last year we got candle holders that looked like spiders.
