Tony Palo from Texas. His acura integra ran 8.9997 @ 167 and follow up with 8.97 @ 166.7 mph. This is now official world's fastest Street FWD.

Not to take anything away from this Integra, but there are many "Street" cars running way faster times......John Shepherd ran 7's in his "street" DSM that was registered and on 4 cylinders.

I could make the correction. The integra is the Fastest world's "Street Car Front wheel Drive". You can call BOTI, NHRA, or anyone else but if you just don't like the just say it :). I know FWD dsm is very fast and I'm not doubting that it ran 8s but how come I barely see those called "Street Cars" in Hotrod class?

there are fwd 8sec dsm cars out there, but not in STREET TRIM. They are actual full race cars... And they usually use auto trannies or something of that nature.

Does he drive it to and from the track without issue? Is it driven on the highway to school everyweek? Would it be reasonable to drive it to take someone to the movies?

national event...as he beat them by several cars :)

Think his old 8v setup was in the 9's back in the late
90's, car has never run NOS, just gas and boost.
