Admin, please add this thread to the pile of others in the corner.Tell your buddies that instead of buying jdm parts, to install some sort of gps locator or lowjack on thier cars.If there worth so much to them, they shouldnt think twice about it.Imagine finding your car in seconds, instead of days or weeks.

I've seen that car....... before..... sucks to hear! A good buddy who worked for Wilde Honda for a few years used to tell me how easy those honda/acura's where to steal..... I guess he wasn't kidding!

Hope he gets his car back, in more or less one piece.

civic theft on the eastside is legendary. Lots of college kids with no garages means easy pickens for pros. Late model cars show up in a parking lot a week later missing a few parts however the older ones get stripped clean and very rarely resurface.

You'll usually find the shell in an ally somewhere around a few blocks from where it was jacked.

I hope your friend get his car back in one piece, I highly doubt it though. They are qucik at chopping them up.

I would be sick to my stomach if it were me. :puke

I knew it was a honda before I even opened the thread. I am with Clint on this one. If I had a car that was known to be easily stolen, I would just keep a pit bull in the car at night. LOL! Seriously though, we can sit here and ridicule the guy for what he should have done to prevent the car from being stolen but he is the one that lost something.

I will keep my eye out however, I am sure that it will be the last time he sees it.

Thats good news that it was found. And from the history of Honda thefts in the area, he probably got really lucky.

QFT! Trust me, I feel sorry that his car got stolen, but seriously, if you own a car like that on the east side, odds are it will be stolen. Solution: Don't own one if you live on or frequent the east side! :punch: But really, he is VERY luck to have gotten it back in one piece. That almost never happens.

Glad it was found, sorry about the rims...but IMO they were ugly as sin anyways, put stock rims back on it, have nice day.

Those rims are cool, but only should be on a black car.

Do people not modify their cars with fuel cut-off's or trip the inertia switches before leaving them?

I used to trip my mustang's inertia switch all the time in case someone tried to get cute and steal it. Ford had PATS though so I don't even think they could take it without the key anyway.

I have done something like that to my cars, or something like a toggle under the seat. I had one hooked up to the cigar lighter in one once to kill ignition. Seems like a lot of imports need to do this also. If you cant afford a lo Jack or something spend the 20 bucks n make something. I hope he finds it in one piece or finds the POS people that do this stuff.:chair::chair:

seems like honda thefts are back on the rise. In today's economy, how do people afford all this VTEC in their motor swaps? :rolf

Can I just pose the most irrelevant question?

Had there been any work done to it by Beeyond Engineering?

;)

Sucks to hear, will keep an eye out.
