looking for a set of Nitto 555 315/35/17's. I would like to physically come down somewhere and pay for them if it saves me the shipping cost and is cheaper than ordering from discount tire. Any help would be appreciated:)

here, I can be the first to offer some help: don't get nitto's:rolf

Seriously, I have them, and I am not a fan. Get some M/T's and never look back. If they would have had the 305/35/18's when I bought my DR's there woudln't have been a hesitation in which I would have bought, but they didn't :crying But now they do:banana

I have nittos on my white one, I like them cause they last longer. Ya just got to burn the hell out of them at the track. BFG's last a summer for me. The new MT look promising but BUCU bucks for a set of those. Plus i have been stuck in the rain a couple of times and the Nittos were less scary.

I've got a set of M/T's. Like new, but 16".

If you're interested I can get the size off them.

My nittos hook up perfectly. Never had a problem. Plus if you get stuck in the rain you can still handle it. Rick

I thought discount was "the one" just was seeing to support a forum guys buisness if it was the same price. I didnt totally click on the shipping but if its free Ill go with it. Dont like ordering off the internet rather call them and givem my number. I found my deep dish chrome pony rims! www.ponyr.com freekns sweet!
I like my nittos, If you ever get caught in the rain (which I have) they work better than bfgs or the others. But if I was doing a more dedicated drag car with less street time I would prolly swing for a other set for the extra ching.

The NT01 is a great street/road course tire but TRUST ME, it sucks ass for drag racing..... :thumbsup

Nittos are a good compromise tire. They last a long time and hook better than regular streets.

If you are looking for something strictly for GLD get et streets though.

BTW, discounttiredirect is free shipping.

I had Nitto's and I thought they sucked! Nuff said.

You people that say "nittos suck" are probably just using them wrong. They are a harder tire so at the track you REALLY need to do a good burnout in order to get them hot enough. Also they are a "roll out the clutch" type tire not really so much a "drop the clutch" one though. Plus when you start to get over 450whp they really aren't the tire for you.
