Anyone have anything to say about it? I was thinking about getting a mortgage from Guardian but now I'm a little skeptical.

Prime was VERY good on our indirect lending side of things for the dealerships. Did they merge or did Guardian buy them out? We were wondering why Prime got out of the auto side of things for us, and this is why.

i had guardian first for a loan, the loan was excellent. i went with their checking, and it was terrible. i now have PF for a loan, checking, and a credit card, i'm seriously hoping they keep their own practices, as Guardian is crap.

You'll need to find out which institution is the controller now - It's public knowledge, so you'll only need to call and ask.

No need to be skeptical as far as the strength of the company - A credit union is the smartest way to go right now, and they'll be much more willing to work with you (since you as a member own the company) if you ever have any problems. Of course.. that isn't ALWAYS what happens, but usually.

from what i read on the article they are using upper managment and executives from both companies, but the top dog is Guardian it seems.
