Nice photo Jason. I like the light around the car. How did you get that effect to work. Have anymore photos you going to post?

Pretty sweet! What did you use for lighting? One really cool thing I have seen done is putting a wireless flash in the cabin of the car and when firing the shot it illuminates that as well. Really cool to see.

single flash, handheld while the shutter is open. About a minute 30 on the exposure on a tripod of course. F8 for sharpness. Bring a GOOD flashlight to use to get the focus spot on. Aim the flashlight at the bumper or grill while you lock the focus on it. Trial N error will get your exposure right.

I was going to say, "How the hell is that a single flash" but the flashlight is a good idea if a long exposure is available. Good way to get some great shots :thumbsup

nice job j..you did a great job..you see all the detail....maybe next time guess at the distance.....say.... set the lens to 15 ft..with f8 even if you were a little off on your guess...the pics still would of worked. out with f8...i do it that way with weddings...bridal dances at times are dark as hell..or if i shoot the bride at night out side........and have shot cars at night as well.....just a thought....another thing you might want to try...is put colored gels over the flash...then shot them off under the car...then use the bare flash..you may need two people for this...if you don't have a looooong sync cord.....IF you don't have a trigger to flash the flash off camera.......you get a really nice effect.......red or blue look sweet at night....JMO....keep up the good work...:)
