So there has been talk of a New Vehicle going into production built specifically for Police use. Its called the Carbon E-7 built by some new company called Carbon Motors. They have finally released some spy shots.

That's what I thought too, when I saw the logo on the grille. I kind of like the way this thing looks. I can just see the things in the hands of civilians 15 years from new. I would imagine the light bars would have to be replaced with some kind of blanks. Does it have a donut warmer?

They Claim that the car is fully Recyclable I thought. Which in turn means when the department is done with them, none get into the hands of Civillians/Cabbies Etc. Whether any of this will be true in the long run is obviously impossible to tell.

Tooo bad many of the cops that stop me cant even drive their vickiyes..... I think they should invest in some offensive driving lessons and show cops that their instant on radar isnt usefull unless you can complete a Y turn in under 10 miniutes and 15 points... I dont stop when i know ive been hit by instant on becuase i know that the moron cop driving it probably went to school for business of something and the only thing they got going for them is an auto trans so they can hold their coffee with one hand and massage the wheel with the other..... Completely useless car IMO

Aren't they stupid expensive too? I saw a price a long time ago when this first came out, but I can't find a price anywhere now.

At one point I had heard that Carbon Motors was claiming these cars would cost the same as a Crown Vic including all the police equipment. Then the other day I heard each car would cost 65-75 grand.

I can tell you right now that if its the Latter you will never see these things on the road. You can get a Crown Vic for around 18-20k and probably 10k more for really fancy police equipment, and thats buying new everything for every car each replacement cycle. And we all know that mst departments reuse quite a bit of stuff, especially MPD. Last I heard Impalas and Chargers were just a little bit more than that.

this new police look is sweet. I believe it will definitely change the look of police nationwide. i need to look more on it, in regards to engine size and rather or not it has turbo.
