I've been wondering how many and which ones are in WI, and have been owned in WI.
I've been compiling a list of known, suspected, and reported Firehawks in the state, and
I know I don't have them all. I will post the known ones below since there is no reference
list anywhere else that I know of. In deference to privacy concerns, I will post only the
year and build number, unless that Hawk's owner has posted additional info on this site,
or otherwise given me permission to post it. Anyone wanting more of his/her info listed,
(or listed info deleted) may post here or e-mail me.
Ron Schaefer.

Ron, what's the deal with 02 SOM #0471 (F HAWK)? On the For Sale web page they had, it now says "sold" across the top of the page---- http://www.cars-on-line.com/02fireb12347.html ---Is it still in WI?

Good question. I haven't chased down that info yet, don't know if it's still in WI.
I'm currently just trying to update the info I currently have, including what I've accumulated since mid-March, when the board's parameters were changed, throwing me off-track.
Thanks for the head's up, I'll put that on my list.
You knew that Hawk won 2nd place at the Don Miller show in '03 and 1st place in '02?

No, I never made it to that show last year. I've never actually seen that car in person.

Great to hear from you.
Can you send me an E-mail? I'd like to include you on the mailing list.
Also, if you'd like, you can tell me your name, location, Formula color, and any info you'd like included in the list posted above.
What kind of events do you like? What is your work schedule (days off, shift)?
Currently I expect 3 activities to kickoff in May.

Welcome! Glad you found us. Are you the guy I talked to last fall with the RamAir V6 Bird?

Hope to see your new car soon. The Calendar doesn't list it, but the scouting run for the Fall Cruise is on May 8th, starts in Racine. If you like DRIVING the Hawk and want to break her in, this is fun. The early run is a little quicker with fewer cars than the full deal on May 22nd.

Above you can see your info has been updated. Did you want other info added? Like first name, Formula or T/A, or your plate # if you have it? If you haven't gotten your plate yet, I think "FYRHAWK", "HAWK XTC" and "2K2 HAWK" are still available.

Thanks for the welcome, This is my first Firehawk but not my first Firebird. I had a 78 T/A, burgandy with a 6.6 Hurst 5 speed. The 2002 Hawk T/A is completley stock and would like to see other Hawks to decide what to mod first. Minior stuff, nothing crazy.
May 8th sounds fun. Let me know time and place. I already have plates (389-GSP).Thanks again,
Dwayne

Our gatherings are intended to bring together Firehawks and their owners in and around WI, and enthusiasts, fans, and others are welcome to stop by.
Authentic Firehawks have an assigned Build Number, Pilot number, or Retrofit number. Clone or Fake Firehawks do not, and are not listed in the roster here nor in the Firehawk Registry.
Although I know the build number of the Hawk your rims came off of, the rims themselves do not have a build number assigned to them. So, they don't fit on the list of Hawks, but you're certainly welcome to stop by our events, as is anybody else. Are you getting Firehawk tires on those rims, when replacement time comes?

I just joined this site a month ago and i would like to here from other Hawk owners from Wisconsin.I saw a red Hawk on Sherman Blvd and i understand there are others in the milwaukee area. I would like to know how many Hawks are in Milwaukee. Looking forward to the F body cruise on the 22ND, weather permitting. Let me who's out there,

I'm not sure where Sherman Blvd is in Milwaukee. Was it an LT1 or LS1 Red Hawk?
With only around 100 Hawks in the state, it's not likely that they will overwhelm any board, but some do visit here sometimes. Many Hawk owners do not have computer/net access, or are interested in it. But posting anywhere else besides here will likely get buried among other threads of a forum or board. Keep stopping by here.
After the Cruise this Sat, there is a Hawk Gathering scheduled on Monday the 24th, which will be at Wayne's Drive-In at Five Corners (by Cedarburg, Grafton) from 6pm until at least 8pm. And on July 11th is the Firehawks and F-body Free BBQ in Waupun.

There are about 9 Hawks in Milwaukee County, of which 7 are identified by build number. There are also about 35 in the greater Milwaukee area, of which 23 are identified.

hi,
#552 checking in. 1999 Firehawk Formula. In western Waukesha County. Only 18 black, t-top, 6 speed Formula Firehawks built in 99. It's fun to be one of the few.

Hey Ron!

I saw another black T/A Hawk today in Camp Douglas, about 14 miles from Tomah. I believe it's a 2002 due to what looks like the SLP spoiler (couldn't verify as I only looked from the side. I stopped to hopefully find the owner but nobody was around. It looked like a maintenance garage for the local phone co.

If I find out more details I'll let you know.

Hey Ron,
Great talking to you at the Pontiac show at Foster. As an added bonus to the days festivities, my car got a best in class plaque. Quite a surprise.
