Now im not the type to make this style of threads, but after all the hating i recieved about the gas prices and where i felt they would go too and no one believed me .............

I promised $85/barrell by Late Janurary, and we are currently at $87.20 or so

I promised gas would be back under $3/gallon by late jan. and were closeing in very close. We need about 3 more days of going down and you will see $2.99 and gas stations NEAR YOU!

I told you, i Dont lie!

The 'rents called a few days ago from TX with sub 3 buck a gallon.

Part of the reason for the decline in gas prices is the future's market is pessimistic about the economy...If a global recession occurs, the economic slowdown would dramatically slow-down consumption of fuel on a per/day/year basis...

again, consumption vs production is the chief determinate of demand vs. supply and what the futures market looks to when they figure to bet on future prices...now so few are buying, this leaves more oil to come direct to the market...thus giving us even more fuel than we had recently, with less demand (and far less demand likely in the future) then we've been experiencing.

I'm down $47k with IRAs, 401k and stocks, this market sucks. As far as gas goes Opec is going to call an emergency meeting in Nov about cutting production of oil, because those greedy bastards want to kill the US economy! I say lets pull out our troops, get a couple of Nukes and level that dam sandbox and take the freaking oil!!!!
