This weeks games (use to copy and paste for your picks):
CHI @ ATL
MIA @ HOU
BAL @ IND
DET @ MIN
OAK @ NO
CIN @ NYJ
CAR @ TB
STL @ WAS
JAC @ DEN
DAL @ ARI
PHI @ SF
GB @ SEA
NE @ SD
Mon, Oct 13
NYG @ CLE
Byes: Bills, Chiefs, Steelers, Titans
My picks:
CHI @ ATL- ATL proved to be competitive last week, however, I don't think they're the caliber team that can pull it off week in and week out. CHI gets teh win :(
MIA @ HOU- Games like this scare me...it's not always about how SHOULD win (HOU) but are they hot or not. I worry about a team after a tough home loss such as HOU suffered last week, as it can lead to a let-down the next. However, I think MIA isn't the kind team that'll pull the upset on the road.
BAL @ IND-IND doesn't require heroic comebacks this week. Comfortable two touchdown win here.
DET @ MIN- Getting a quality road win parlays into a decent home win for the vikqueens. This is the most likely game for DET to pull a road upset though imo.
OAK @ NO-Russell playing in front of the adoring LSU fans? Doesn't equal a win here. Rumor has it, Davis is itchy to replace Cable even as the intern head coach, lol.
CIN @ NYJ- At this point in his career, Favre appreciates the bye-weeks. Look for a sharp performance and a jets win here.
CAR @ TB- I think an injurted Griese doesn't get the start...why? Garcia is a tough as nail's competitor who wants in and wants to make things happen. There is NO drop-off in talent going to the veteran pro-bowl QB. Things are normally a little more intense with Garcia, and they need that for a win against the tough Panther squad.
STL @ WAS- Any given sunday? Like, a snowball's chance in hell.
JAC @ DEN- I usually like picking Denver at home...but JAC needs the win and puts in extra work and focus this week to ensure that outcome on the road.
DAL @ ARI- ARI always has the potential to get upset wins at home due to the arid heat...however, that doesn't help against a DAL team that has to play in heat AND humidity.
PHI @ SF- Again, here's a situation for a let-down tough home loss then on the road against a mediocre team. PHI still pulls it out though.
GB @ SEA- GB needs and gets the win. You know what scares me though? That we've become like the bears...get an easy schedule and play like world beaters. Get a moderately tougher one and end up with a 4 win season.
NE @ SD- SD needing a win badly, at home, against a struggling to find themselves NE team results in the SD win.
Mon, Oct 13
NYG @ CLE- Baby Brother Manning struggles at first then cruises to a comfortable win here.
