Thinking of geting a Bearded Dragon for my boys (and me). Wondering what to expect?

Back in the day I had Caymans, Water Dragons, Chameleons, Iguanas, Tegus, Boas, Piranhas, etc. But now have little kids and dont want to get into something that could hurt a 3 year old girl.

I actually have my college cayman stuffed and on a shelf in the basement. His name was Captain Jack! Would eat 10 mice at a time. He was 3.5 feet long when he passed away.

Not looking for that again.

Are Beardeds: Safe: Clean: Easy to care for: Growth expectancy?????? Do they smell?

Have wife and a house now and need to consider some of those factors.

Thanks

easiest pet in the world to take care of in my opinion... They don't grow that big either.
