what are your guys's take on rings? do you wear them for looks or just because (some of you) you are married?

i was looking at a golf magazine and came across an ad for these and thought they where pretty cool. so whatcha think?

not married. will NOT wear a class ring of any kind. i have my tiffany's ring that's the titanium and dark graphite.

just cause it was a gift and now have become accustomed to wearing it all the time

I have a few rings that I will pick from if I am dressing for an occasion like a wedding or something. I have my wedding ring sitting in an envelope here on my desk. I had it cleaned and qas going to sell it, but I just noticed it is still sitting here. lol

I wear a tungsten wedding band. Just a simple domed design, comfort fit, polished. Tungsten is cool because it's so high on the hardness scale it rarely will scratch. Just be sure to get a couple sizes as you can't resize tungsten. They are very affordable, generally the jewelry stores will mark them 4-5x higher than you can find them online. Just make sure you get tungsten with a nickel binder rather than a cobalt binder in the alloy. Cobalt can be allergenic and will tarnish. The nickel will stay bright silver forever and is not allergenic. If an online place doesn't say they use nickel binder, then they are using the cheaper cobalt binder.

FTR that titanium buzz site is a god damn rip off. They're marked up over 10x what you can buy them for at other places. Alloys are the same, designs end up being the same for at least tungsten. That site has my ring for 575, and I paid more than 10 times less than that with lifetime warranty and size exchange.

It's sad, but whenever I hear the words "mens ring" I think of Goatse and the ring on his finger.

I always wear my wedding ring as well.

I will occasionaly wear a watch or necklace. I also have my ears pierced and I always have my earing in. Each ear is pierced two times.

I don't see anything wrong with men wearing jewlery, however if you have a bunch of it and it has to match what you are wearing then theres a problem I think. :thumbsup

i dunno, if its something that "matters" like a gift or something, go ahead and wear it, but only certain guys can rock larger amounts of jewelry and still look decent. i wore my class ring for a little while, got tired of it.

last time i wore rings was at a bachelor/bachelorette party, we did a combined bowling tournament for the first half of the night, we wore our honor score jewelry to see which side had the most. i had on 5 rings that night.

Yes. Same with imports and any car named after a noble gas. Don't buy one unless you want an allergic reaction and tarnishing.

I have three rings and a pair of diamond studs, I hardly ever where any of it. The only thing that I where daily is my necklace with a Crucifix and a Saint Christopher pendant. I wear it under my shirts most of the time.

I would call a guy a f@g for wearing jewelry if that is what he is in to, so long as he didn't wear it like it was a Mr. T. starter kit.
