Picked up a 50mm 1.4 USM lens.

The 50 1.4 is probably my favorite lens for the money, period. I see zero need to drop $1000+ for a 50 1.2 shot for shot with the 1.4. You are going to love it dude.

I cant wait to put this to use more. I was looking at the 1.2 and the 14 and was comparing and was like, wtf... why 4x as much???? def not worth it. The 1.4 was the best bang for the buck for sho!

I hope it doesnt rain on sunday, i'm supposed to do a shoot with some friends. They want couples portraits and candids.

At 1.4 if you focus on somebody's nose the eyes are out but at 2 or 2.2 you can get some pretty slick effects
