Like the title says, first time out with the GTO since I got it last November. It was a bit different then what I was used to racing (420whp Cavalier), but did pretty decent (would have liked to of pulled better 60' times, but track was a bit slick)

My best last night (mid 50* temps) was a 13.55@104.56 w/ a 2.116 60', 2nd best a 13.63@104.13 w/ a 2.118 60' (1/8th = 8.811@83.9 & 8.878@82.41) Stock 17's w/ stock size tires (Kumo somethings) @ 25psi. Out of 9 runs, 5 where in the 103-104mph range, best 60' was the 2.116.

The car Dynoed 281hp/295trq earlier in the summer. Only mods are a Lingingfelter CAI, descreened MAF, and T/B heater by-pass.

On deck are a '05 exhaust (sans mufflers/resonator), 160* thermostat, HP Tuners, and a Wet NX N2O setup. Might try one more track trip before they close for the winter. Come spring I should have some tires and at least drag bags to try and limit the wheel hop.

Put some long tubs on her and she will open right up. Nice times for mostly stock.

I was happy just to be quicker then 14.0!!!

:banana1:

Those *might* be on the list...... depends on how fast I pay this beast off, and how I feel about turboing it ;)

Nice times. I would have left the screen in the MAF tho.

Long tubes for sure. Makes it a whole new car. If you are worried about them money, get a used set off LS1Tech.

I know people aren't for the generic stuff. But I got a set of those XS stainless LT's w/ ORY for 450 shipped. They fit awesome, didn't leak, and made one hell of a difference in power.

we'll see where I sit come spring. I'm going to try and make it to the BCM GLD event tomorrow.... maybe the track will be a bit stickier!
