You can buy a cheap one at Farm and Fleet for like $10.00.
You could also check with Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, Checker auto Parts or CarQuest -- as they likely will RENT you the tool; otherwise Northern Tool might sell them as well.
You can get the really nice kits for $40 bucks also (OTC 3050C).
I know you are looking for FREE, but these are very fairly priced alternatives.

I didnt think farm and fleet would sell this. where in their store would they be hiding it?

I bought mine at Advanced Auto on HWY 100, next to BW3's. I can't remember price, i wanna say it was less than $20.00

sweet. looking online I seen em go for anywhere from 20-70 bucks

dont waste your money. they tell you nothing. you only know you have some voltage going through and enough to light them. what are you trying to test?
just use a Continuity test onn a volt meter or something, then check if the injectors are opening buy using a screwdrive and listen for clicking. that would be the cheapest way to do this.
