*Help* Laptop won't turn on.

I have a HP Pavillion laptop, and like 3 days ago it just decided it didn't want to turn on.

I hit the power all the lights come on but the screen doesn't, and then after about 10 seconds or so, it just cuts off. It will sometimes after that turn on and off and on and off a few times. Any idea whats wrong and how I can fix it?

Is the battery taking a charge? I had one of my old Dell laptops stop taking a charge and also wouldn't work when plugged into the wall. It ended up being the sotter joint on the plug broke. On my Dell that required a brand new motherboard since it was all one piece.

I had an issue similar to this with my old laptop....battery was shit, ended up getting a new battery and everything worked

Sounds like a power issue. Try to turn it on with the batt removed.

hit it then try it
step two
hit it harder bordering smashing it.
step three
smash the everloving shit outta it then use a hammer plug it in and try again
step four
go to best buy and get some new shit

What are the chances its still under warranty. Now it sounds exactly like what my old Dell was doing.

Should still be under warrantry, I am going to take it to Best Buy on Monday, the laptop is barely a year old and I'm pretty sure I got the 3 year warranty. Thanks for the help.
