the stands haven't been "full" the last couple games I have been too. We were at a game against the Reds on the 9th and there were a TON of open seats.

I got 4 terrace box seats. I tried right at 3:30 and it took a few tries to get in.

So the deal was that Gagne bought 5,000 tickets to give away, they were gone in less than 20 minutes. :0

The seats are less full, because it's a weekday, school tomorrow, the game will be over at 10-ish, out of parking lot by 11 :P etc.

Say what you want about his pitching, but the guy has been a pretty class act ever since he came over. No whining about this or that, fessed up for his wrong doings before the season started and stated he just wanted a fresh start, plus they are always talking about some community thing or another that he's involved in on the radio. It's good to see him trying to give back SOME of that 10 million and not being lippy about it:thumbsup

He also donates like $100 for every strikeout at Miller Park as well for Hunger Task force or something like that. "K" total is currently at like 600 for the year. What's $60,000 to a guy who makes $10 mil I guess but it's still cool to see him giving back.

Yeah....Gagne seems like a pretty good guy. They said he's donated over $200k to Brewers charities....which is about 1/2 of what the ENTIRE team has contributed. Hopefully he can continue to pitch good.....you'd hate to see sombody like that go to another city.
