Looking for Cool Places to see between here and Wash DC

I'm planning a road trip to washington DC and I'm looking for some cool places or sights to stop and see along the way there and back. Haven't really decided on a route yet other than that the way home will be different than the way there. I kinda want to hit the Jack Daniels tour, thinking maybe some civil war stuff(only if its cool though not just some field with a sign) Anyways, throw out some ideas if you have any.

It is about 70 miles west of DC. I went through there on my way to Deal's Gap from NYC.
