Just thought I'd share a few pics of the Z28 I picked up yesterday for me and the boys to work on together. So far there is some suspension stuff done and an SLP exhaust. I spent a little time cleaning her up today and will take some after pics when I get finished cleaning.

Yep it's an auto with a shift kit of some sort. Not real familiar with the z28 yet, but it's a blast to drive. It will need a paint job at some point, but for now I just want to find the z28 emblems in red and add some other tasteful red accents. Just subtle stuff cause I think the black with a little red looks good.

Not as good as say...........a Ford that's white and red, but close:rolf

Should be a fun little project, LTJuan power, how do the boys like it? Porno red interior is what that bad boy needs FOR SURE:thumbsup

The boys really like it because they know that they get some say into what is done to it and they get to help as well. I can't believe what a good cleaning is doing for this car. My oldest boy is quite the artist and already has plans of doing something on the hood when we decide to prep and paint it. lol

The car definitely has some get up and go and for the price I paid, I am very satisfied. Also the black matches the Durango and as Michelle said " once you go black...."

Looks good for the money, but needs purple accents to match the bike.

I am picking up some badass hair extensions later today. lol

The lady friend has a 95 Trans Am vert with the LT1 and I really like that car, so that is what swayed me in the direction of the Chebby.

AWESOME! I can pretty much anything for sale when it comes to these cars, haha

Those sites are great recommendations.

Also check www.mfba.org for a local for sale area

hopefully you have budgeted a rear end into the list of mods :thumbsup

those cars can fly with not a ton of money into them.there is no reason you couldnt run 10's on the stock bottom end if you chose to really try running fast.

My meaning of "project" is a little different than you race car guys. lol

This car will get the cosmetic stuff taken care of and then we'll go into the performance stuff. The rear end will get looked into early on though because I think there might be a shim issue the way it is now. ( Makes a little whining noise in the rear when taking a sharp left turn.

I still can't believe how good this thing looks on the inside just after a good cleaning. This afternoon me and the oldest will work on the exterior and see if we can improve that at all. It will need paint to be perfect, but it looks great from 5 feet.
