Ok so to start im redoing everything fuel related in our car for the new power we're putting in it.

So im going to order a new Sending unit, that connects to 3/8" Fuel line. I was planning on running 1/2" Fuel line from the tank to the our new fuel pump (carb motor).

I know 3/8" and 1/2" lines are pretty damn close to eachother, so should i just go 1/2" and clamp the the end tight onto the 3/8" Sending unit? Or just stick with with 3/8" line? Would that be plenty for 450hp?

Thanks

3/8 " should be plenty large enough, I just did some fuel lines and here is a tip :

Don't get stainless steel ( Impossible to Flare )
Get standard steel. I purchased mine from tri state power in Oak Creek. They had 10 foot length and it was reasonable.

Also you will need a 37 degree flare took because all -AN fittings are just that ( 37 Degree Flares and threads )

I have the special Flare tool if you need to borrow it, and a tube bender !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use the Tube and nut and works great.
