good read.... and before anyone says it a .02 could not have anything to do with the crash.

perhaps he drank a beer beforehand ;) Can't say you could get me to drive that fast without alcohol....

It says it was ethanol...doubt he drank that before his run....

^^^ethanol is the component of all alcoholic beverages that makes you drunk....alcohol doesn't actually make you anything, it's just a name for a family of comounds


and on a side note....even if the .02 did in some way impair him, i think he was fvcked from the start when the parachute didn't deploy. he probably died upon impact with the 8.5" steal pole b/c he couldn't slow down enough

Yes but when the police do a finding, they dont say his toxicology showed ethanol which equals .02 bac. It does not say alchohol was a factor...

b/c when you do a BAC test you don't test for alcohol.....Alcohol is NOT a compound....when you do a BAC test you test for ethonol

^^^i doubt it would still be in his system that long after....i bet he drank one or two during the day....it's done and over with, what's the big deal, i would say it had nothing to do with his death.

You don't even have to drink to raise a BAL...sometimes something like bread can bump it up to low amounts such as these.

right you are.....but there are only a few things that could do it, and i'm pretty sure a slice of bread isn't gonna do it. you'd have to eat upwards of a loaf to do it

Hoped he was knocked out by the explosion, sucks he was awake
trying to stop and steer a injured motor at WOT, realy sucks.
