i just acquired a smt-6 i dont have a wiring diagram to hook it up to my car i am also working on getting a new wiring harness for the unit so i dont have to deal with other peoples shitty wiring skills and fresh start it... anybody have experience with wiring up a piggy-backs.. and tuning via piggyback?

PM Bad Cutt He fixed all my wiring problems I had in the wifes Grand AM. So he knows his GM's, isn't a chevy a GM product?? If so give him a PM he does great work!!!

A quick look around the net and I got the pinout for the SMT.
Looks like the Hyundai guys (of all people) posted up the generic docs:

So with those, along with your ECU pinout you should be able to get it wired up..
With that said... doesn't HP tuners support your ECU? I know they support the SCs for sure.
If they do, that's a much nicer system to be tuning on, has much more control, and of course ease of install.

So with those, along with your ECU pinout you should be able to get it wired up..
With that said... doesn't HP tuners support your ECU? I know they support the SCs for sure.
If they do, that's a much nicer system to be tuning on, has much more control, and of course ease of install.
There is no tuning options for 05-06 2.2L ecotecs besides piggybacking. The 07 2.2l's can use LS2edit to tune.

smt-6 is pretty nice its almost as good as a standalone.
