how long do those TA's usually last milagewise??? Because it you could get another 90k out of it that would be a great buy.

depends on how well beat on it was :) they usually last a bit but the rear end may not thats just a ticking time bomb. i'de give em $6,000 with out looking at it and tear it apart lol

Seems pretty low for what it is, though these things have been losing value pretty badly over the past year. Definitely worth it if it's somewhat clean and hasn't been beaten to death.

yeah, the thing i like is the pink ribbon on it, makes it look like a breast cancer thing. so maybe a women owned car?

if thats the case you would probably have to replace a clutch and a tranny.

It's ten years old with over 100k on the clock. That's a darn good rate of depreciation.

Once the next generation of Camaro comes out they're going to take another hit.

if your just going to build it then yess its a hell of a deal... if your keeping it stock and useing it for a DD then idk.. you might end up rebuilding it anyway... i got mine with just under 30k on the clock for $16k dealer wanted 20k but my girlfriend at the time worked thier...
and just after 33k miles the dealer put in a brand new motor cuz mine blew up...nothing i did it just starting knocking really bad and they couldn't figure it out so they replaced the whole damn thing...

either way if its going to blow it will doesn't matter if thier is 30k or 130k miles on it...

BAD LS1

Stay away from 98's if you have the intent for it to be heavily modified. There are alot of "bastard child" parts on them that makes some stuff dificult to work around. If you are looking for something to tinker with and drive, 98's are just fine.

This one in peticular is kinda neat because its the navy blue, but it is a base t/a, and leather and T-Tops were standard so the 12 disc appears to be the only extra cost option aside from maybe traction control and rear defrost..

Hmmm That was a smoke bomb firework. I dont know how to do burnouts.

Hell the car has 70k on it with the stock 10 bolt. That should have been broken by now if I was beating on it.

I beat the piss out of mine every time I get in it and the 10-bolt is still going strong. Stalled A4, though.

its priced appropriately for the season as well as the year and mileage. Tom is right about the bastard parts, that whole computer mess crap especially. They did have better injectors compared to the '99-'00 though.
