I've used three different kinds at work. Wooden flat style w/ pad for head, the frame kind w/ adjustable head part, and dog bone. I prefer the frame or bone style but that adjustable head part on the frame kind are nice.

I've spent my adult life on creepers, buy the lightest
and smallest creeper you can find, no wood!

I have a $300+ Sanp On creeper here that was the
rage not too many years back, its here at home
because its just too heavy. "The Bone" is kinda
awkward. The adjustable headrest setups are kind
of cumbersome 90% of the time, ads weight.

Go to any shop, find the biggest and badest toolbox
in the shop with some old dude maning it, he probably
has this creeper right here:

The same model is probably offerd anywhere, Matco
sells a lot of these, light and small.

I have the Jeepers Creeper, same as that Matco one. It works good. My buddy has a metal frame Snap On that works real well too. I thought the Dogbone was a POS when I tried it.
