I believe the guys at West Bend Dyno can do that type of work. You'd have to ask them though..

Fritz. PortPonies is his user name. He did some stuff on my GForce POS for me. Great guy to deal with.

Well after takeing the motor and trans out i was on a mission to figure out what 4 speed was put into the car before we bought it.

Turns out its a T10 4speed. From what i gather from research, it should be fine for the power were looking to make. But i would like someone to completely rebuild it with the Borg Warner Super T10 kits.

Actually, thats who most of the guys said to take the tranny too. A circle shop style company because they deal with them the most.

Edit- Just seen this on their site right next to the tranny i need restored "(CIRCLE TRACK RACING TRANSMISSIONS ONLY, SORRY WE DON'T RESTORE TRANSMISSIONS FOR STREET APPLICATIONS)"

I think im still going to call them and ask who they would go to.

$500 for freshining up my trans versus 2700 for a new T5 sounds much better. Plus that leaves extra money for my Ford 9"

Why is that and what would be the difference...??? If anything a 'race' trans should be stronger than a street trans.....:)

The problem with the circle track race style tranny's are they take away 1st gear because its usless and usually add a gear in place of reverse. So that takes away reverse.

I know this is off topic but I've had a few vehicles that didn't have reverse, you learn real quick where to park and where to NOT park.....:rolf :rolf :rolf

It's probably part of the reason why I have such strong legs.....:dance
