I manage Sullivan’s. It is by far one of the nicest bars downtown. We have never had a fight there in the 14 months we have been open and now this.

I am so freak'n pissed. After being there till 5:30 AM doing paper work and interviews with the police they then tell me they are underage. WTF!?! Plus we scan everyone’s ID's so they had to have used a fake and we can prove it.

When I used to work the door at some clubs man I would have to make up the stuff to keep the ghetto out. When you put up a dress code they will change with it and then whine about it. There have been a lot of nice bars shut down because the ghetto takes over. I have never seen so many people act so stupid in my life, when I worked at Lutz's we had a $15 cover at the end and the people (ghetto) kept paying cause they wanted to get in. we would have a line that would strech around that mall and then some. it was a mess.

Since this has all happened busness has been down 80%. So with that in mind, I knew it was coming, I no longer work at Sullivans. I was the highest paid there next to the other manager so I was let go. I know it would be done right after the busy weekend so I had a few weeks to prepare.


This is one time I can say I lost a LOT of money of stupid ghetto pieces of shit.

Well, I sugested close up after this past weekend (Halloween) for a month, paint the place and give it a new name. Reopen as a new place and just like that we are no longer the place that had the stabbing and we are a "new" bar. The owner didn't like the idea becasue people would just walk in and think it was still Sullivans. Even though I don't agree it is his decision to make.

So if he closes up the place, he is now making no money on the place. With it open, even though there is no profit being made, at least SOME money is coming in to help pay the bills.

Well, Sullivans has lost about $20,000 a week in sales since this has happened. We have let OVER half of our bartenders go, only for the fact we don't want to have a bartender work for us who might get one shift every other week. We can sue the crap out of the chick but how is she going to have that kind of money? We can only hope that sice she is black and form Illinois she is also related to Oprah.

The question is, can I sue here and win. :confused

yea, most bars downtown that have changed names, have always had the same owner. We were 1225, and Lukes, all the same owner as Sullivans. And yes, Bar Milwaukee, Buckhead, Have a Nice Day Cafe, and now Suite, all the same owner.
