91 jeep cherokee pd package??

I'm thinking about buying this jeep today and the person selling it says it is a previous police car.
is this a good or bad thing as far as finding parts and so on
also what is different with the police package

The AHB package was introduced on the XJ in 1992

There was no '91 police package on ANY jeep Cherokee/grand Cherokee.

I saw that ad and believe the guy is lying or a common "know nothing".
Leather seats and woodgrain body cladding=police vehicle ? Don't make a lick of sense.
Another one of the claims that make it a police package is because it has a do nothing trans switch to change from "power or normal" trans settings. :rolf
My 88 Heep has that, it does nothing.
One thing I am sure most police XJ's had was a throttle kicker switch to increase engine rpm's for when they are sitting around with the A/C and 73 lights flashing.
