yea they weren't cheap but the craftsmanship is fantastic. Feature pony is in the ballpark on cost without tires. I hope to hell they fit! :rolf I find out next week...

Those are 545s, not 540s...and you;ll have to explain the 8 month part of it.
No way HRE has slipped that bad in delivery times.

They will look killer on a GN though. :thumbsup

ya youre right, theyre 545's.. typo on my end. The wheels had to go back to HRE for offset issues, as I had them built for different (smaller) brakes than I am currently using. I had them build this set to clear C6 ZR1 brakes if I ever decide to run them, just going to use the C6 Z06's for now, it will probably be more than I will ever need. HRE was the only company at the time that said they could get it done, it just took them 2 shots to get it right this time (I hope). Plus there was a backlog waiting for measurements on the new ZR1 brakes. I think they're gonna look SICK on the GN. If not, I bought a set of 18" Sevas 3pc R5 forged wheels in a gloss gunmetal finish, too. Thought the gunmetal finish might look good contrasting against the bright red Z06 calipers. Those should be back from Sevas in about 2 weeks, then off to Big Bear Tire for some drag radials. BTW Sevas TOTALLY screwed up the wheels the first time around. They wouldn't let me give my input on backspace, and I got a set of wheels that hit the control arms in front and hit the frame in the back. Not to mention they didnt even machine the barrels on the rear wheels to the right size to fit over the axles. :confused How they screwed that one up I don't know. Hopefully they get their sh*t together, as they're a little less expensive than HRE was but still not cheap. Great looking wheels, too. Here's a pic in the standard finish:

I'll post pics of those when I get them back from Sevas...

HRE wheels are very top notch!! I'm going the cheaper route with the true forged wheels they only run $3300 chromed, polished is $2600. Iforged is another good brand to run the cost is pretty much the same as the HRE wheels.
