Just got a new setup for our Red Ear Sliders:

Friggen grew out of their old tank fast. So we upgraded to a 55gallon and a Fluval 4+. Had to build a stand for their waterfall which I may just get rid of. They keep digging up their rocking pirate ship so I just left it.

Dude you gotta put some stuff in there for them, thats weak.

I have two red-ear sliders, they are just over a year old. No photos of the setup at the moment.

I have a Sandfire Bearded Dragon. I don't have any pics online right now... my old gallery got nuked in the last server meltdown.

Man I keep putting those live plants in there for them. They eat the hell out of them and it ends up stuck in the filter. They love swimming from one end to the other, fuggers HAUL ASS! What size tank you got?

Does it look anything like this?

Used to have those little guys ALL over my front yard. They would chase eachother around sometimes too. Then the land scapers came by and covered all their holes. :(

Also caught one of these?

They eat live plants, fake plants are good for them to play in / hide in. They are in a small tank now, looking to pick up a 30 gallon in the next few weeks.

They say you want 10gallons of water for everything 1" of turtle length wise. The Petco Dollar a gallon sale is coming up. 55gallon for 55 bucks is a steal.

That's a horrible setup for sliders. They need a dedicated dry area they can bask completely out of the water. They also need a heat lamp and ultraviolet tube above said basking area.

Um thats a UVB bulb in the corner and the non ramp part of the turtle dock is completely dry. You just can't tell from the pic.
