Holy NON-Stop RAIN Batman...!!!

Granted all of this rain today is MUCH needed but it sure makes you realize all of the nice days we've had this summer, since the flooding this past spring of course. I hate to admit it but I can take things for granted sometimes and I surely have with the weather. I think this has been one the nicest stretches of weather that I can remember for some time.....

with the lack of rain, I havent mowed my yard in probably close to a month, and it still doesnt need it

It's been a weird weather year for sure. Across the street from me is a deep ditch, atleast 5 feet deep I'd say, and I've had 2 firsts. Early this year the first time I've seen water overflow over the top of it, and then about 2 weeks ago the first time I've ever seen the ditch completely dry.

Heck to show how dry it's been my sump pump normally runs a couple times an hour even when it's normally dry, even with all the rain we've gotten today I'm not sure if it's ever turned on. I had to check to see if it was working, but the crock is still mostly empty.

i love beautiful weather and all... but this past day of rain was very welcoming...
