Damn light-ass civics. :D The Supra at the end needs to throw a little 110 in and turn his boost up... 15 psi is nothing for a T71. Hell, I don't think mine will even go down to 15 psi. With my BC off it boosts 17.

i know right i hate when ppl have decently big turbos and only run low as boost not even half of what the turbo could push.

I'm kinda wondering if it's a NA-T conversion... then for sure he would have to stay on low boost until he built the motor as the 2JZ-GEs aren't going to handle the same power a 2JZ-GTE will.

Stock SC300 is the 2JZ-GE... but swapping in the GTE is possible of course. It's just kinda expensive (the engine, ECU, harness, and tranny are obviously in high demand). The SC300 is basically a Supra with a slightly stretched frame so, for the most part it should drop right in.

As far as power... I don't know off hand and SupraForums is down at the moment.

Good question... in the SC300 it'll be a 5-speed manual (which isn't the same as the 6-Speed getrag that holds 1000+WHP). The Auto in the SC probably holds about 325hp, so not much. There are some relatively inexpensive mods you can do to the tranny to get it to hold about 450 hp. You can have the tranny built to hold more serious power... which is on the order of a couple grand + core. I don't know too much about the NA's because I went right to a TwinTurbo.

The SC300s start off with about 225HP... you could also go for the SC400 (which looks just like the SC300) which is a 4L V8 with 260HP (the V8 only gets 1MPG less than the 6). I think the SC400s only come in automatics though. The later year SC400s (1998 to 2000) are 290 hp though... so if you want something close to a TT without the hassle of swapping engines or building trannies, a late model SC400 is probably your best bet.

I'm guilty of that :crying I can't afford the 112 to run it higher. It sucks to much gas. I keep it 8psi so I can use 93. Plus it makes over 600rwhp on the 8psi so putting it to the 24psi setting is just wasting gas. I save the 112 for GLD!

whats stronger the auto or mtx trannys?in the sc300.

the Tran's in the SC's aren't very good, there auto is decent but the W58 (5spd) Can't hold much over 400hp. Better off getting a MKIII Supra 5spd Trans (R154) or get the 6spd Getreg (V160) if your baller $2,000

I know the 2JZGTE swap is pretty easy to do if you have a JDM motor clip, But the Aristo clip (which is what most 2JZ's you get from Japan are,are front oil sump, where is the SC/soarer are rear. And the Wiring harness on the JDM one is a bit shorter) :thumbsup

So what's it make on 24 psi?

Only dynoed it to 20psi and it made 976rwhp. Need to dyno it on 24 to see what it makes soon Now that everything is about done.
